Established in 2013 by Sport Aurora, the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame is a celebration of sport history and excellence; dedicated to the recognition of the important place that sport has assumed within the fabric of Aurora.
It’s not just celebrating these athletes, coaches and builders, it’s also the opportunity that their stories will inspire future generations in our community to want to participate in sport. They can chase their dreams and if they work hard enough, they can be successful at whatever they do.
The Aurora Sports Hall of Fame is also a place of education, with more than 90 artifacts to showcase how far our inductees have come and a place of community, where young and not so young can gather to share and appreciate Aurora’s rich culture and heritage.
We are located in the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex (SARC) at 1400 Wellington Street East, Aurora, ON.
To date, we have inducted 38 outstanding individuals representing either athletes, coaches or builders.
